10 year plan
In 10 years Gaps creek will be showing signs of a strong infrastructure and most necessities
would be built including emergency services, few recreational centres and other buildings
will be well on their way.
Many blocks of housing will be ready to sell. The blocks will sell in 9-stage process, once the first
1st block of land is sold opportunities for the 2nd will be available and so on.
5 commercial areas will be built allowing local access to shops and businesses. These commercial areas will be similar to roads such as centre road or church st which are placed in Brighton.
Shops will be placed along streets including restaurants, clothing stores, and other shops.
Also, 4 parks would have been placed around Gaps Creek allowing more outdoor activity for youth and elderly. These parks will be suited towards everyone such as family bbq’s, bike paths, playgrounds, etc.
The lifestyle in Gaps Creek would now be easier since there is much more infrastructure to explore, a bigger community and all of Gaps Creeks plans would of now been completed or in the progress of completion.
Our flawless energy plan consists of both solar and wind energy. Both energy farms would have been built before the suburb was open and by 10 years has come our energy plan should now have been in full focus.
Also a primary school and high school would have been built as well as a childcare or a daycare. The primary school and high school are placed on opposite sides of the roads to make going to and from different schools easier. Also the childcare will be placed in a similar area.

Since the 10 year plan, Gaps Creek has had an expansion and has now been divided in to 3 different sections. Gaps Creek now has a north, central and south area to separate the suburb.
A strong infrastructure is now in place with 11 different commercial areas that are spread out through the entire suburb. One major shopping centre is located in the centre of the suburb. From the border of the suburb, it would take a few minutes to get to the shopping centre. Otherwise, a commercial area should be within walking distance from each home.
Hundreds of blocks full of housing opportunities has been added to all 3 sections of the suburb. These houses are made to suit everyone, whether you’re a large family or newlyweds. Here in Gaps Creek you’ll find the perfect house for you.
An extra 6 parks have been added to the now larger Gaps Creek. Similar to the commercial areas, a park should be within short walking distance from each house. The 10 parks have been spread evenly around Gaps Creek to provide leisure for everyone to enjoy.
Now a secondary school has been added to Gaps Creek making our education plan complete. Now in Gaps Creek the full education system is available throughout the suburb. The education system includes, kindergarten/childcare, primary school and secondary school. The secondary school has been placed opposing the primary school to make travelling from each school easier.
Two recreational areas have been added to the north and south of Gaps Creek. These recreational areas will be most often used for sporting purposes as well as your own leisure. Sporting precincts such as basketball courts and swimming pools will be a part of the two recreational areas that are yet to be built.
